Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DE&I) & Wellbeing
Here at Psychology Brighton, we offer training and consultancy services to businesses and organisations, focused on diversity, inclusion and wellbeing. We know through research that building psychologically safe workplaces, where employees can be themselves, improves productivity, creative thinking and ultimately creates a strategic advantage for the organisation.

Diverse companies have been repeatedly found to outperform industry peers on profitability (McKinsey&Co, 2018, 2020, 2023). For example, in 2019, research conducted by McKinsey&Co found that companies in the top quartile of gender diversity on executive teams were 25% more likely to experience above-average profitability than peer companies in the fourth quartile. Research also indicates a widening gap between leading ED&I companies and those that have not yet embraced ED&I culture and initiatives.

ED&I does not stop at point of hire. Hiring diverse talent isn't enough. Creating a truly inclusive workplace is what matters, as it can significantly minimise the risk of burnout and lost productivity, improving employee wellbeing and mental health. Developing an organisational culture that truly values Diversity, Equity & Inclusion can be a challenging task and this is why partnering with qualified Clinical Psychologists can be a helpful advantage. We bring psychological science and understanding of human behaviour to the workplace. We can help your organisation go beyond buzzwords and help you develop a truly inclusive culture that promotes wellbeing across the entire workforce.
